RACE NEWS

• Spectating is limited on this course so if you plan to come watch we have a few select places you are able to cheer on your favorite rider: Rest Stop 1/5, 2 and the finish area. We'll have a spectator map available at registration to help guide you in the right direction. There is no spectating at Rest Stop 3 & 4 on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Specating here jeopardizes our permit for the race and anyone caught spectating will disqualify the racers they are cheering for. Please respect our requests.

• The North Carolina National Guard will be sponsoring the race this year, providing a 450 gallon water buffalo to help with the water problem and medical assistance at rest stops. They will also supply plenty of festivities at the finish line including a rock climbing wall!

• We're averaging 5 entries a day right now so sign up early to ensure your spot. There is NO Race Day Registration.
