- Bear Ridge View Cabin: is located on 64 privately-owned acres atop Mine Mountain, which is approximately five minutes from the entrance to Pisgah Forest. The cabin was recently renovated and contains two bedrooms (1 King & 1 Queen), 2 baths, and a modern kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. It also features generous outside decks with an outdoor eating area, wireless internet, Direct TV, a DVD player and library, a washer and dryer, and a gas grill. Guests can enjoy the solitude of the area while rocking on the newly constructed covered back porch. This porch, which overlooks Pisgah Forest, features ample seating for large groups, as well as a ceiling fan and variable lighting to guarantee year-round comfort. Bear Ridge View, with its knotty-pine paneling and charming décor featuring a mix of unique antiques and newer pieces, is an ideal cabin for couples or small families.
- Mountain View Cabin: is located on 64 privately-owned acres atop Mine Mountain, which is about five minutes from the entrance to Pisgah Forest. The cabin features two bedrooms (1 king and 1 Queen), two baths, a modern kitchen with eat-in island, and a majestic stacked-stone fireplace. The cabin also contains a bunk bed located in a small nook off of the great room (for a total of 4 beds). In addition, this cabin provides Direct TV, a DVD player and library, a washer and dryer, and a large deck with a spectacular view of the surrounding mountains. The deck features a grill, an outdoor dining area, rocking chairs, and a hammock so that guests can take full advantage of the beautiful vistas. This cabin is well-suited to groups that include two couples, since the cabin contains two separate guest suites.

- FoxFire Cabins: Just 15 minutes south of Brevard off Hwy 276. Nestled in the Mountain Bridge Wilderness at the edge of Caesars Head State Park. Some of the cabins have waterfall features so you can go to sleep listening to the water. All you need to bring from home is your own bath towels and a bar of soap.
- Down To Earth Cottages: 5 miles outside Brevard. Each cottage overlooks a mountain stream and is nestled amongst vegetable, flower, and herb gardens. Pick fresh organically grown vegetables and herbs in season for a dinner on the grill.

Seven Foxes: Fully equipped cabins nestled on seven
wooded acres in Lake Toxaway, 15 minutes from Brevard.
- Davidson
River Campground: Located directly across from the
Stage starts. Facilities provided include fire rings, picnic tables,
lantern posts, gravel tent pads, hot showers, and flush toilets.
Reservations required. Starting at $18 with $2 extra for river sites.
RV and group sites available. This is the most convenient/affordable
spot to base out of for the race. Online reservations are full as
only 45 sites are available online. 100 sites are saved for first
come first serve. Plan on arriving early enough to ensure yourself
a camp spot.

Forest Campground: Free WiFi, electricty at all sites,
Mountain Bike Wash Station!
- National Forest Campsites: There are lots available
throughout the forest that are free. There are 8 along forest service
road 477 before you get to the Horse Stables. These are 1.5 to 3 miles
away from the start/finish area. These sites are on a first come, first
take basis. All of these sites can hold two tents and two cars. They
all have lantern posts, raised gravel tent pads, and some have picnic
tables. There is a No Alcohol rule enforced at these sites.
