The Sasquatch Scrambler is a MTB race with a short enough course to make it a great first race in Pisgah National Forest, yet still good enough for any level of racer. Rolling over rugged mining roads, classic Pisgah singletrack, cursing climbs and giggling descents, this course will test your skills and desire as you explore the intoxicating terrain of the Pisgah National Forest. Good food and brew will be at the finish to comfort you after a great ride!

THIS RACE IS LIMITED BY THE US FOREST SERVICE TO 300 PARTICIPANTS.

If you're going to do a pre-ride, please do not park where the start/finish is showing on the race map. This is private property and we need to respect this. Parking can be found at the beginning of Green Mountain Road or the County Park parking lot right beside Green Mountain Road. Also, do not go into the fenced area for the National Forest Work Center. We have been getting word that people are doing this.

If race sells out, we will consider a transfer to another race if we have someone on a waitlist to take your spot.

Parking is now with the Start/Finish. No more riding your bike a mile up that main road to the start/finish.
Turn up Green Mountain Road and continue straight past the road you'd turn up to the old Start/Finish, then follow Green Mountain Road to the end where the private property is that we will now park at and have our start/finish. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS PROPERTY FOR PRE-RIDES OR TO JUST CHECK IT OUT.
